Once again this year, Villach's old town will shine in Christmas splendour, offering young and old an extraordinary Advent experience and an unforgettable pre-Christmas season. Whether you sit in one of the cosy huts in the evening and exchange stories with your loved ones over a hot drink, take a leisurely stroll through the old town or look for gifts at the Christmas stalls - Villach's Advent Market offers the right entertainment for everyone. In the meantime, children can let off steam on the ice rink on Rathausplatz.
Another highlight is the Winter Wonder Forest designed by Thomas Brezina in the park of the Parkhotel, which not only makes children's eyes sparkle, but also offers great photo motifs for the whole family. Together with Blachere Illumination, the popular children's book author designed colourful creatures, which are to represent 7 Christmas miracles and 7 winter motifs during the Advent season.

Villach Krampus Run
The motto of the event is "Mysticism and Customs". 2 December from 18:00. You can expect lots of scary masks as well as a breathtaking atmosphere with Krampus groups from all over Austria.
