From the main station it is around 13 minutes on foot, so with light luggage it is a stroll. Anyone arriving with more takes the bus or a taxi, or books the station shuttle by 18:00 on the previous day. By car you come via the Villach West and Villach Ossiacher See exits from the A10, or via Villach Faaker See from the A2. Once there, follow the signs to LKH Villach. A space in the in-house parking garage costs 15.00 € per night, and the gate opens through number plate recognition. If you fly in, Klagenfurt is the nearest airport at around 30 minutes’ drive. Ljubljana is about 50 minutes, Salzburg 80, Graz 90 and Trieste 100. You can reach the Hauptplatz and the pedestrian zone from the apartment on foot, and the LKH Villach at around 300 metres, about four minutes’ walk.
