At the Affenberg Villach visitors come within a few metres of the animals, with no fence in between. The Affenberg lies right next to the Adlerarena and Burg Landskron. At first that sounds like a restriction, but it is exactly what takes the stress out of the visit: someone explains what to watch out for and makes sure that distance and rules are respected. The macaques meanwhile live just as they would in the wild. ## What you will experience Depending on the season, guided tours start every 20 to 60 minutes. Prams are not allowed into the enclosure, but there is a baby carrier to borrow at the entrance. Dogs have been thought of too: four free dog suites at the entrance take in your four-legged friend while the family is out on the tour. If you want more on the programme, add the Adlerarena and Burg Landskron, both just a few steps away. ## Good to know Plan the Affenberg together with the Adlerarena straight away.
