Numerous events, known far beyond the borders of our country, round off your holiday stay with us perfectly. Especially popular are Austria’s largest festival of traditional customs – the Villacher Kirchtag – and the European Bike Week on the neighbouring Faaker See. You should also not miss the Villacher Fasching and the street art festival right in Villach’s old town – only a few minutes’ walk from our apartments. One highlight of the region is the wide range of open-air events at the Burgarena Finkenstein in summer. Many well-known artists have already performed on this special stage and delighted the audience. For anyone with an interest in cultural happenings, the Komödienspiele in Spittal/Drau or the Stadttheater in Klagenfurt are just the thing. For the Kirchtag, Bike Week and Fasching the apartments are often booked out months in advance. ### Advent markets on the Hauptplatz and around the Stadtpfarrkirche, an ice rink on the Rathausplatz and the Winter Wunder Wald in the grounds of the Parkhotel. ### On foot. Most festivals take place in the old town, and that is a few minutes from the apartments.
